We're taking a break for a few weeks, but more missions will be announced very, very soon :)

FAQs

what if i'm not a very good runner?

Antidote requires just as much skill and strategy as it does running. A strong team utilises the strengths and weaknesses of teammates in order to win the game. It doesn't matter whether you're a first time runner or a seasoned pro, come along and join in the fun!

How do I know if I'm a survivor or a zombie?

At the start of each mission, everyone is split into two teams (i.e. survivors or zombies). If you have a preference as to which team you would prefer to be a part of, we will try our best to accommodate. Otherwise, you will be split on a purely random basis. Teams will each consist of up to 20 people per team.

Can I come dressed in costume?

Abso-freakin-lutely!

Could we suggest some awesome running music to accompany?

We might be able to help you out there... This week we've suggested the following tunes guaranteed to help you run fast and get you into a post-apocalyptic frame of mind...

Illy by Kahn
Like Eating Glass by Bloc Party
We Used to Wait by Arcade Fire
Fall by Daft Punk (Remixed by M83 vs Big Black Delta
Escape Velocity by Chemical Brothers
I Am the Doctor by Murray Gold
You're a Animal by Jonathan Boulet
Reptilia by The Strokes
Rapunzel by Drapht
All my Friends by LCD Soundsystem

How much does it cost?

Nada. Nothing. It's free. We do this because you have fun and we have fun!

We do hold a BBQ every few weeks after a mission, and people sometimes chip in a bit of money for that...

What should I bring?

Your mobile phone! The Field of Play is approximatelty 3 kilometres in length and so it's easy for players to get separated. If you have your mobile on you, you can call us if help is required. Plus, once the mission ends, a text message will be sent to all participants. Smart phones are particularly good, as you can check the Antidote Facebook page during missions for updates!

Unfortunately, we have no storage facilities for your belongings. We recommend either bringing as little as possible or perhaps a small bumbag / bag that you are able to run with. Water coolers are dotted around the South Bank area, though a water bottle may prove more efficient whilst being chased...

How long does each mission last?

A mission takes about an hour to an hour and a half. Sometimes it's more, sometimes it's less. It all depends on the strategy, speed and tenacity of the teams.

Can I join in by myself?

Yes, of course! As you are split into teams on the day, it doesn't matter whether you come by yourself or with mates.
